Privacy and cookies policy of the aljovich.com website.
I. Definitions
All capitalized terms correspond to the definitions contained in the Website Terms of Service, to which this document is an annex.
II. General information
This privacy and cookies policy concerns the processing of personal data by the Website Owner — Adam Aljović — and the use of cookies.
The Website performs the function of acquiring information about users and their behavior in the following way:
through information voluntarily entered in forms,
by saving cookie files (so-called "cookies") on end devices,
by collecting web server logs by the website's hosting operator (necessary for the correct operation of the service).
III. Information in forms
Adam Aljović collects information voluntarily provided by the Client.
Adam Aljović may automatically save information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
Data provided in the form is not shared with third parties other than with the Client's consent, unless otherwise specified below (as required by law).
Data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. to respond to an inquiry.
IV. Information about cookies
The Website uses cookies.
Cookie files constitute IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Client's end device and are intended for use with the website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
The entity placing cookie files on the Client's end device and accessing them is the operator of Adam Aljović's Website.
Cookie files are used for the following purposes:
creating statistics that help understand how website visitors use the website, which allows improving its structure and content;
determining the Client's profile in order to display tailored materials in advertising networks, in particular the Google network.
Two basic types of cookies are used on the Website: "session" cookies and "persistent" cookies. "Session" cookies are temporary files that are stored on the Client's end device until logging out, leaving the website, or closing the software (web browser). "Persistent" cookies are stored on the Client's end device for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are deleted by the Client.
Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows the storage of cookies on the Client's end device by default. Clients can change their settings in this regard. The web browser allows cookies to be deleted. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this subject is available in the help or documentation of the web browser.
Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the website.
Cookies placed on the Client's end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the website.
Cookies may be used by advertising networks, in particular the Google network, to display advertisements tailored to the way the Client uses the website. For this purpose, they may retain information about the Client's navigation path or the time spent on a given page.
The Client may refuse to consent to the processing of cookies by not accepting the consent displayed on the website (this may cause the service to malfunction). Regarding information about Client preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the Client can review and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: google.com/ads/preferences.
V. Server logs
Information about certain Client behaviors is subject to logging at the server layer. This data is used solely for the purpose of administering the website and ensuring the most efficient possible operation of the hosting services provided.
Browsed resources are identified by URL addresses. In addition, the following may be recorded:
the time the request or query arrived,
the time the response was sent,
the name of the client's station — identification carried out via the HTTP protocol,
information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,
the URL address of the page previously visited by the Client (referrer link) — in cases where the transition to the website occurred via a link,
information about the Client's browser and IP address. The above data is not associated with specific individuals browsing the pages — within the meaning of the law it is anonymous.
The above data is used solely for the purposes of server administration.
VI. Data disclosure
Data is subject to disclosure to external entities only within legally permitted limits.
The Website Owner may be obliged to provide information collected by the Website to authorized bodies based on lawful requests, to the extent resulting from the request.
In such a case, Clients will be informed of the new administrator of their personal data in accordance with applicable regulations.
Recipients of the data may be entities involved in the IT support of the data administrator.
VII. Protection of personal data
The Website owned by Adam Aljović cares about the security of users' personal data, therefore wherever personal data is required, the connection between the user and the server is encrypted. Thanks to this, Clients do not need to worry that data sent to or from the server will be viewed, intercepted or used by someone.
The administrator of personal data is Adam Aljović. Contact for the Data Protection Officer: [email protected], tel. 513 243 604.
Personal data was provided consciously and voluntarily and will be processed solely for the purposes described in paragraphs III.4, IV.4 and V.4 of this document.
Without explicit consent, personal data will not be shared with other data recipients, except for subcontractors of our IT services for the purpose of maintaining the system.
VIII. Changing, correcting, deleting, processing personal data
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), Adam Aljović ensures Clients free access to their personal data, the right to change, be forgotten, correct and delete it.
Any information regarding access to, changing, correcting or deleting your personal data can be obtained by contacting our Customer Service Department — tel: 513 243 604 or via the contact form found on the website: aljovich.com.
Should you have any questions, please contact our Data Protection Officer: [email protected].
Adam Aljović uses automated processing of personal data, known as profiling, in order to tailor the offer to the Client's personal preferences.
The Client has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
A description of how to withdraw consent to the processing of cookies can be found in paragraph IX of this document.
Consents to the processing of personal data always have a specified period during which they are valid; if no such period is specified, they are valid until the consent is withdrawn, and after such withdrawal — for the limitation period of claims held by and against the data administrator, unless the processing is based on legal provisions other than the consent given (e.g. a purchase/sale agreement).
IX. Managing cookies — how to give and withdraw consent in practice?
If the Client does not want to use cookies, they can change their browser settings. We reserve that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, security, or maintaining the Client's preferences may hinder, and in extreme cases may prevent, the use of the website.
To manage cookie settings, choose your web browser / system and follow its documentation: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Android, Safari (iOS), Windows Phone, Blackberry.
